Music Legend Jon Secada Joins Blue Faery on Campaign to Raise Awareness About Liver Cancer During Hispanic Heritage Month

BIRMINGHAM, AL (Aug. 24, 2023) – Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association (Blue Faery) is excited to partner with Grammy Award-winning musician Jon Secada for a second year to raise awareness about liver cancer disparities in the Hispanic American community. Hispanic Americans are affected by liver cancer 2.5 times more than any other ethnic group, but these risks can be reduced through education and screenings. Read more.

CHM Receives the Silver Award for Best Multicultural Campaign at the 2023 DTC National Advertising Awards

NEW YORK, NY (April 17, 2023) – Community Health Marketing receives the DTC National Silver Award for Best Multicultural Campaign at the 2023 Xpectives Health Summit – the leading forum for DTC advertising which recognizes the best in health care and pharmaceutical marketing and communications. Participating in health research can be as simple as taking a quick survey or telling your story to help us understand the challenges our communities face. Only when we truly understand the social and cultural barriers that lead to disparities, can we begin to address them.

Irritable Bowel Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, or Crohn's Disease Patients These diseases are often underdiagnosed and/or overlooked in our Black/African American and Hispanic American communities. Help others on their patient journey by sharing YOUR experience. $100 compensation for your time if selected
Prostate Cancer Patients
African American men are disproportionately affected by prostate cancer and their patient experience can be very different. Share your experience to help other Black patients on the prostate cancer journey. $100 compensation for your time if selected.
HER2+/eBC Breast Cancer Patients
Black women are disproportionately affected by HER2-positive breast cancer. Share your experience to help improve outcomes for others in our community. $200 compensation for your time if selected
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Patients
Help other members of the African American and Hispanic American communities living with multiple sclerosis by sharing YOUR experience. $200 compensation for your time if selected
